How to reset windows local user password ?

Hello Hardware Ocean folks, this is a very simple method on how to reset your windows user password if you get locked out and can't access your PC anymore. So there is a few ways to do it.

Option 1: The easiest way to it is to use a Toolkit like Strelec's WindowsPE  or Hirens Boot CD

Option 2: We can manipulate windows so it thinks you press sticky keys and it open up CMD and with this CMD we can reset our password with few commands.

If you choose Option 2 then you should have already prepared a Windows installation USB

First Boot into your prepared Windows Installation USB Stick and when the installation start press "Repair this pc", it should bring CMD (A black window). In that black window you should copy the file CMD.exe and SETHC.exe, first of all make a copy to your SETHC.exe, name it SETHC.BACKUP and then write CMD.exe as SETHC.exe and restart your computer. after your pc boots and windows loaded and you at the login screen press SHIFT button 5 times until your see the same previous black window.

In that window you should write, "net user" it will print all windows users available to you, you should remember your Username in order to reset its password.

For example my Username is: HardwareOcean, the next command should be 

"net user HardwareOcean [Your desired password]", after that you can login back to your account with the new password you just changed to.

Don't forget to write back the SETHC.exe file.
