How to scan your Windows device for Malicious Software for free

Hello, this post is all about MRT, the Malicious Software Removal Tool that comes built inside Windows. many people don't know that their OS comes with the MRT tool.

To launch MRT simply press WIN+R and write "mrt" (without quotes) and select the middle option (Full Scan). It may take a while but it will detect and remove any Malicious Software that it will find. You can also use Microsoft Safety Scanner, this is a same tool like MRT but it is often more updated than the regular MRT tool and because it is often updated you should download it again every time you want to scan your device for Malicious Software.
